Operan Race

The original ruling class of Auliem, blessed by Sun with the Gift of the Word. Operans are calculating, silver-tongued, and bent towards self-interest: therefore, they make the most natural politicians and executive officers. Of the three races, operans are the most likely to engage in infighting and yet also the most likely to maintain family units. They have no other monikers, save for in the minds of those for whom the operans represent the absurdly wealthy and inordinately powerful.
