Also known as the Small Folk, the Swift Folk, or the Shrewd Folk. (In some derogatory circles, they are called the Feral Folk.) The Great God Sun saw fit to grant them the Gift of Wit, as well as a natural disinclination towards forming communities or bonds. Tixans find themselves torn in a schism between avoidance of modern society or capitulation to it. When integrating into cities, they tend to find work as merchants or researchers - anything that might allow them frequent travel to satisfy their wanderlust.
